Andrew Foster’s work questions the permanence of the inheritance we carry and its capacity for evolultion. Through a stream-of-consciousness approach, he uses dream logic to evoke both memory and emotional residue. Presenting indirect and open narratives, Foster offers his felt experience to the viewer as a window through which to consider how what we inherit shifts over time.

Sami Cutrona presents herself in her photographs as an ambiguous and fluid figure. She finds resonance in portraiture as a dialectic exploration of the mercurial nature of identity, where selfhood and performative constructs converge. In her work, illegibility disrupts how power and meaning have been inscribed on their body. They reject expectations surrounding the body and strive to envision and construct other possibilities—present and future.

Sami Cutrona
Sami Cutrona (b. Bethlehem, PA) is a multidisciplinary artist working in sculpture, photography, and related media. Cutrona’s work is shaped by the locus and limits of their queer experience. They received a dual MFA/MA in Studio Art and History and Theory of Contemporary Art from the San Francisco Art Institute in 2020 and a dual BA in Photography and Art History from Lycoming College in 2017.

Andrew Foster is a photographer whose work examines the domestic landscape as a psychological and emotional space. Working in both color and black-and-white, he photographs homes, objects, and quiet environments to explore themes of fatherhood, masculinity, memory, and inherited behavior. His practice is grounded in long-term observation and repetition, privileging atmosphere and restraint over narrative resolution. Drawing from personal history without relying on autobiography, Foster’s work considers how meaning accumulates in ordinary spaces and how identity is shaped through daily, often unspoken rituals of care and absence.
