Our experience of time is limited to the present moment and our recollections of moments gone by. We can cannot re-live the time that has passed, freeze the present moment, step ahead to a future moment or alter the speed at which one becomes the next. We can mediate our perception of the passing.

Each of these photographs is an experience of time's forward trajectory: a sort of landscape of time through which I passed. I shifted the photographic process away from the capture of a moment in order to shift my experience of time's passing. The camera acts not as a tool for freezing time but instead concentrates my senses inward to make myself more aware that I am in motion in the time that is hurtling past me.
